LeaderBridge congratulates four leaders who graduated from Leadership Greater Washington’s 2023 Rising Leaders Program: Tommy Amal of the National Association for College Admission Counseling Malisha Cooper-Suggs of Spark the Journey Dr. Christina Sessoms of Youth Guidance-DC James Watkins of HumanitiesDC Rising Leaders is a leadership development program for mid-career professionals in the Greater Washington region. Facilitated by the Careerstone Group, the highly rated program includes sessions on leadership and self-awareness, networking and relationship building, providing feedback, presentation skills, and managing up. With support from the Crimsonbridge Foundation, LeaderBridge has partnered with Leadership Greater Washington to engage and support the participation of 32 regional nonprofit leaders since 2016.
Alums of this LeaderBridge affiliated program and others become part of the LeaderBridge Network, consisting of over 155 leaders working in the nonprofit sector of the Greater Washington region. LeaderBridge alums can access additional professional development resources and opportunities to connect with peer nonprofit leaders who serve as thought partners, sounding boards, and connection points in their professional leadership journey.
