CAREER PATHWAYS

CAREER PATHWAYS AND POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION
Alternative career pathways and postsecondary education provide essential tools and resources for building successful and prosperous lives. While a college degree has traditionally been seen as the key to a successful career, it is not the only valuable credential for a rewarding future. By pursuing various educational options, individuals can build their skills and knowledge, access career preparation programs, and benefit from practical training and coaching that lead to higher-paying jobs.
More opportunities for meaningful work translate to greater economic stability for families and communities. Crimsonbridge is dedicated to researching and identifying effective practices in postsecondary education, particularly in areas where opportunities are often limited. These pathways not only foster personal growth but also enhance the overall economic strength of communities.

This work seeks to create pathways to careers by connecting Americans with training and alternative education programs that build and enhance professional skills, provide job placement platforms, and lead to better jobs. Through grants and collaboration with local and national partners, Crimsonbridge is concentrating on three strategic priorities:
Expand opportunities, access, and completion of career and technical education and credentials, professional skill-building programs, and job placement opportunities.
Scale successful programs and solutions for career success, especially for individuals not engaged in postsecondary education or looking to break into new careers.
Accelerate research on innovations that impact Americans pursuing career learning during and after high school.
