EdSource - 2023 To expand coverage of postsecondary success from a nationwide perspective, sharing stories from within California that link explicitly to national issues and increasing analysis of federal policies that impact all students.

Kitchen of Purpose (formerly La Cocina)– 2016, 2017 To produce a 13-week English-language curriculum focused on the most essential vocabulary and English skills needed for success in the culinary arts (2016). To develop a customized vocabulary mobile app for students that integrates vocabulary content from the culinary arts, food safety, job readiness, financial literacy, and nutrition (2017). 
 
Latino Student Fund– 2016-2022 To expand and build the capacity of the Access and Listo Rápido programs, which provide academic support, college prep services, and independent/parochial school guidance for Hispanic students in grades K through 12 and their families (2016). To support the Access program, translate key communications materials into Spanish, including the website, and create bilingual videos highlighting organizational success stories, and a challenge grant to increase individual fundraising (2017-2018). To administer the Crimsonbridge Foundation’s Education Imperative Fund, which provides scholarships and academic support to Latino students who wish to attend a Catholic school in the Greater Washington region (2019-2022). 
 
Literacy Council of Frederick County – 2019, 2020 To provide classes to adults working in the leisure, hospitality, health, and social assistance industries in Frederick County. The classes are located at the workers’ place of employment, during paid work hours, and are tailored to increase opportunities for work-based credentials, job advancement, and provide transferable skills. 
 
Literacy Council of Montgomery County– 2015, 2016, 2020, 2021 To support the expansion of its English for Speakers of Other Languages programs to meet the growing needs of adult English language learners in Montgomery County, MD (2015, 2016). To support the development of the Education 2 Equity curriculum (2020). To support the development of an app as the next phase of work with the Education 2 Equity curriculum (2021). 
 
MDRC– 2017 To support the Latino Academic Transfer and Institutional Degree Opportunities (LATIDO) project to convene a roundtable of experts, develop a policy brief, and case studies report on how higher education institutions can best serve Latino students. 
 
Montgomery Coalition for Adult English Literacy – 2018, 2019 To support new adult English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) learning opportunities for underserved populations in Montgomery County, MD. MCAEL will connect with local organizations to identify needs in the community and will develop a culturally competent plan to develop additional ESOL services. 
 
Montgomery College Foundation – 2022, 2023 To provide training for embedded academic coaches and to develop a train-the-trainer series in the Achieving the Promise Academy (ATPA). 
 
NASPA Center for First-Generation Student Success – 2020-2022 To support the production of 4 fact sheets containing a definitive national dataset on career exposure and career outcomes for first-generation students and graduates, a summative issue brief outlining key points and recommendations, and a practitioner’s guide for student affairs and success professionals (2020). To support the Center for First-generation Student Success Conference Participation and College Celebration programming (2021). To support the analysis and report and fact sheet production of the National Landscape Analysis of First-generation Efforts (2022). 
 
New Futures – 2018-2020, 2022, 2023 To provide general operating support as a selected and participating member of the College Completion Colleagues (C3) Initiative (2018-2020). Prince George’s Community College Foundation, Inc.– 2016, 2017 To launch the English Language Learners Transitions Initiative to increase the number of English language learners who are aware of and prepared for enrollment in the college’s many academic and workforce training programs (2016). To support a new course offering at PGCC: Introduction to Culinary Careers and Servsafe certification for English language learners (2017). 
 
Serving Our Children – 2016-2018 To administer the Crimsonbridge Foundation’s Education Imperative, which provides scholarships to Latino students who wish to attend a Catholic school in the Greater Washington region. The Fund provides scholarships at schools working to increase Latino enrollment and better serve current Latino students and their families.

St. Ann’s Center for Children, Youth, and Families– 2017 To pilot an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program to supplement the Education and Employment Program, which provides services to women continuing their education or seeking employment. 
 
Teach for America, DC Region – 2016-2018 To enable the innovative, multi-year, public-private partnership with the Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning (CTTL) at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School. TFA teachers are trained in Mind, Brain, and Education Science through an annual, year-long professional development program and the CTTL’s trademark summer Academy. 
 
Temple University, Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice– 2021, 2022, 2023 To support the development of a national data dashboard for community college and university leadership to address college students’ basic needs and improve offerings for student success (2021-2022). To support the Basic Needs Learning Module Series to promote institutional outreach activities, effectively disseminate data, and address campus basic needs insecurities. 
 
The Family Place Public Charter School– 2018, 2019, 2022 To expand the capacity of the evening English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program, which serves adults who have very low English language proficiency. The grants will enable the Family Place to hire an additional teacher, serve more students, and provide more individualized instruction. 
 
University of Notre Dame, Catholic School Advantage  – 2017, 2018, 2020, 2022 To lead the Latino Enrollment Institute (LEI), a professional development conference for Catholic school leaders in the Archdiocese of Washington, DC.To support a Principal Mentorship Program for principals who participated in the LEI (2017, 2018). To support the participation of teachers and leaders from the Greater Washington region in the Latino Educator and Administrator Development program. To strengthen and deepen the impact of LEAD by offering additional resources and support for participants during and after the program (2020, 2022). 
 
Washington English Center – 2015, 2016, 2020, 2022 To support the expansion of its adult English for Speakers of Other Languages program, which integrates computer literacy and workforce preparation (2015, 2016). Casey Trees – 2023 To expand Nature Near Schools, an environmental literacy program aligned with local curriculum standards for 5th graders at schools in D.C. Wards 5, 7, and 8.

EcoAction Arlington – 2023 To pilot the Tree Canopy Equity outreach program, with direct canvassing and hosting of neighborhood events to increase tree canopy coverage in 10 underserved neighborhoods of Northern Virginia. 

 

Nature Forward – 2023 To create a new staff position, who will provide bilingual and culturally-inclusive nature education programs in underserved neighborhoods. 

 

Rock Creek Conservancy – 2023 To develop a landscape-scale plan to restore and maintain Rock Creek’s forests, while engaging community members in the process.

Ayuda – 2019 To engage in internal and external Census 2020 outreach to educate community members on the significance of the Census and increase accessibility to Census completion resources. To ensure a more accurate Census by reaching hard-to-count communities. 
 
Bridges for Schools – 2018-2023 Bridges for Schools is an innovative program aimed at creating a sense of belonging and meaningful engagement within a school community. The Crimsonbridge Foundation provides funding and tools for schools to invest in Spanish and bilingual communications, parent engagement strategies, cultural competency, and more. Bridges for Schools partners include 43 schools in the Archdiocese of Washington, Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and Diocese of Arlington. 


Catalogue for Philanthropy Greater Washington– 2017, 2018 To support the Catalogue for Philanthropy’s Learning Commons program, an intensive capacity-building series of trainings and workshops for the Catalogue’s extensive network of nonprofits in the Greater Washington region (2018, 2019). These grants are also part of the Leadership program area. 
 
Catholic Charities of Los Angeles – 2017 To redesign the website and develop a comprehensive Spanish-language microsite. The microsite will be an important resource for under-resourced Hispanic families, who represent over 60% of Catholic Charities’ clients, and for Spanish-speaking individuals seeking access to essential services and education opportunities. 
 
Children’s National Medical Center – 2015 To hire a bilingual web consultant to oversee the development of a Spanish-language microsite, including Spanish-language video content. The purpose of the microsite is to inform Latino families about the services available at Children’s National and to make sure these services are accessible as part of Children’s National’s Latino Initiative. 
 
Child Trends – 2015, 2016 To collaborate on the development of a research-informed guide designed to help service providers and educators build communication strategies to more easily and effectively reach out to Latino families and children. Reaching and Engaging with Hispanic Communities: A Research-Informed Communication Guide for Nonprofits, Policymakers, and Funders was presented at the Communications Network’s Annual Conference in 2016 and to date it has been shared with thousands of professionals throughout the United States. 
 
City Blossoms – 2016 To hire a consultant to support the leadership transition from founding co-executive directors to a single executive director model through executive coaching, board development, and training. 
 
DC SCORES – 2018 To create and implement a Spanish-language communications plan to enhance DC SCORES’ outreach to and engagement of Latino families. The effort will include creating original Spanish-language marketing resources, video, mass text messaging, and a newsletter for parents. 
 
Foundations and Donors Interested in Catholic Activities (FADICA)– 2018, 2020 To conduct national research on innovation in parishes through the lens of Hispanic Ministry, Young Adults, Women and Women Religious in Leadership, and the “Welcoming Role” of parishes. The research will identify replicable high-impact models, equipping and empowering FADICA members, other donors, and parish stakeholders with tools to support vibrant parish life (2018). To support the Catholic Schools Philanthropy Working Group (2020). 
 
Georgetown University, Georgetown Scholars Program – 2016 To develop a new website and marketing brand for the Georgetown Scholars Program (GSP). The new website will enable GSP to shine a light on its innovative programs and successful outcomes and make information more accessible for students and parents. This grant is also part of the College Success program area. 
 
Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital– 2017, 2018 To support increased outreach to Latina girls in the Greater Washington region. Girl Scouts will develop a Spanish-language microsite, including four short videos, and translate registration materials and important program information (2017). To expand the Encuentro de Chicas Latinas de las Girl Scouts, a leadership conference for Latina girls in grades 6 through 12, designed to inspire and recognize their abilities and become active in their schools and communities (2018). 
 
Girls on the Run Montgomery County – 2017 To create a Spanish-language microsite with videos informing Spanish-speaking parents about Girls on the Run events and programming. Girls on the Run Montgomery County, MD, won a national pace-setter award for this work, and their microsite now serves as a template for Girls on the Run councils across the country to build Spanish-language microsites. 
 
Identity, Inc. – 2019 To create a Census 2020 awareness and outreach strategy to be implemented in hard-to-count areas of Montgomery County, MD. To support out-of-school-time STEM opportunities for Latino youth to expand students’ perceptions of the world and career opportunities. 
 
Latin American Youth Center– 2015, 2019 To design a new, bilingual website to better reach members of the community in English and Spanish (2015). To engage youth to learn about the census and design a plan to increase local participation and awareness. Youth will develop bilingual outreach materials and execute a Census 2020 campaign in DC (2019). 
 
Leadership Roundtable– 2021 To build the capacity of Leadership Roundtable to create inclusive, bilingual programming by hiring a Bilingual Communications Manager to better reach and engage Latino Catholics across the country. 
 
Liberty’s Promise – 2019 To add a census education component to their civic engagement program. To engage youth in the program to develop and execute a Census 2020 outreach plan designed to increase response rates in Gaithersburg, MD. 
 
Mary’s Center for Maternal and Child Care – 2019 To identify and train Census Champions from among their staff to lead efforts throughout the organization to educate and motivate staff and community members around Census 2020. To ensure a more accurate census by reaching hard-to-count communities. 
 
St. Ann’s Center for Children, Youth and Families – 2015 To create a Spanish-language microsite on its newly redesigned website, to better serve its growing Spanish-speaking client base.
